The National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine launched the fourth stage of training sessions for local public prosecutors
On May, 10 the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine launched a six-day training within the two weeks of qualification courses for deputy heads of local prosecutor’s offices. The educational program is provided by the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine, Council of Europe Project "Further support for criminal justice reform in Ukraine" and EU Project "Support to justice sector reforms in Ukraine", European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM) Ukraine and the Embassy of the United States of America.
Training event was opened by the rector of the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine Ivan Prisyazhnuyk and project manager of the Council of Europe project "Further support for criminal justice reform in Ukraine", which is being implemented with the financial support of the government of Denmark, Ketevan Tskhomelidze. The PGO was represented by the prosecutor of the international law cooperation department Olga Ivashenko.
Qualification course for heads and deputy heads of local prosecutor’s offices under the program of educational training, developed with the participation of the Reforms Department of PGO will is focused on the following topics: "Management tools and management decisions"; "HR. The development of personal qualities"; "Prosecutorial authorities and agencies to ensure the prosecution activity"; "Procedural Guide pre-trial investigation in accordance with the standards of the Council of Europe"; "Maintaining public prosecution in court. Agreement in the criminal proceedings"; "Effective communication in the prosecutor's office to improve confidence in the criminal justice system"; "Anti-corruption in prosecutorial system"; "Professional ethics for prosecutors".
