First Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Storozhuk held a working meeting with the OSCE Special Representative and Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Madina Jarbussynova
On July 7, 2017, the First Deputy Prosecutor General Dmytro Storozhuk met with the OSCE Special Representative and Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Madina Jarbussynova at the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine.
During the event, the parties considered the actual issues of counteraction combating organized crime, including trafficking in human beings. The foreign guest was informed in detail about the results of the agency's work in this area, in particular, familiar with the approaches to coordination of law enforcement agencies, measures to prevent, detect, terminate and investigate crimes related to trafficking in persons. There was expressed appreciation to the OSCE for the assistance in organizing educational events aimed at raising the professional level of Ukrainian law officers.
The parties noted the constructive nature of the interaction and agreed on further joint steps towards the prevention and counteraction of trafficking in human beings.
