Deputy Prosecutor General Yevhenii Yenin took part in the consideration of the Report on the Situation of Observance of Human Rights in Ukraine during the 28th Session of the UN Human Rights Working Group

On November 15, 2017, Deputy Prosecutor General Yevhenii Yenin, as part of the delegation of Ukraine, took part in the report defense on the status of human rights observance in Ukraine.

During the event, the Ukrainian delegation contributed to the discussion of the recommendations previously made by the UN institutions, human rights organizations and individual states.

Among other, there were considered the issues of investigation of crimes during the Revolution of Dignity and events in Odessa in May 2014 and the international partners were informed in detail about gross violations of human rights that continue to take place in the uncontrolled territory of the east of the country and in the occupied Crimea.

At the same time during the session, participants discussed the current state and further steps of the system reforming of criminal justice bodies in Ukraine.
