Deputy Prosecutor General Yevhenii Yenin met with the Head of the Office for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism of the General Prosecutor's Office of Romania Daniel Horodniceanu
On June 19, Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin held a working meeting with the Head of the Office for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism of the General Prosecutor's Office of Romania Daniel Horodniceanu in Iași, Romania.
During the event, the parties considered the actual issues of cooperation in criminal matters between the competent authorities of Ukraine and Romania. As a result of the meeting, the participants developed and agreed on the format and further joint steps in combating smuggling. At the same time, the mechanisms of direct contacts at the local and regional levels have an important role in cooperation intensifying cooperation between the competent authorities of both states.
Participants of the meeting were confident that the agreements reached during the event will be key for the implementation of new standards of interaction between the prosecutor's offices of Ukraine and Romania.
