Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko held a working visit to the Republic of Estonia
On May 29, 2017, the Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko held a number of meetings with the heads of state authorities of the Republic of Estonia during his working visit to Tallinn, in particular with the Prosecutor General L. Perling, the Director General of the Security Police A. Sinisalu, and also the Minister of Justice of Estonia W. Reinsalu.
Mr.Lutsenko informed the Estonian colleagues about ongoing reforms in the prosecutor's offices of Ukraine, as well as the results of the work of the Ukrainian prosecutor's office in combating organized crime and corruption.
The parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in the criminal justice field during executing requests for mutual legal assistance in actual criminal proceedings. In addition, the Ukrainian delegation had an opportunity to get acquainted with the successful experience of Estonian colleagues in implementing electronic document management.
"Ensuring an appropriate level of cooperation with our foreign partners is a priority area in the work of the prosecutor's office. In particular, we are grateful to the Estonian party for issuing to Ukraine its citizen who participated in the activities of the LNR terrorist organization ", - said Yurii Lutsenko.
As a result of the meetings, the parties expressed confidence in the further constructive bilateral cooperation.
