Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko met with Head of the Investigative Committee of Belarus Ivan Noskevych
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko held a meeting with the delegation of the Investigative Committee of Belarus headed by Ivan Noskevych.
The meeting was also attended by Deputies Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin and Anzhela Stryzhevska.
The parties discussed coordination in international legal cooperation and reforming the criminal justice system.
The Belarusian party expressed interest in adopting positive experience of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine in ensuring of implementing the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations by all pre-trial investigation agencies in Ukraine. Register has an important innovation of the introduction of an electronic data on criminal offenses and the possibility of using digital signatures. It is also an interest in sharing the experience of training and professional development of law enforcement officials.
The delegation of the Investigative Committee of Belarus, in turn, presented to the Ukrainian party the activities of the Belarusian investigative body in combating crime.
During the meeting the participants agreed on further cooperation and interaction in the criminal justice field.
