Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin took part in the meeting of NATO-Ukraine Commission
On February 7, 2017, the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin took part in the meeting of NATO-Ukraine Commission at the level of the Committee on Partnership and Collective Security in the city of Brussels, which in particular was devoted to the discussion of recent measures aimed at preventing and combating corruption in Ukraine.
Yevhenii Yenin informed NATO about the achievements of the agency in this sphere and familiarized the participants of the event with the basic directions of reforming the Ukrainian prosecution bodies.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine is open for cooperation in the sphere of combating corruption and stands for joining efforts with other law enforcement agencies, as well as with international partners and non-governmental organizations. The massive attack on corruption is the most effective way of eradicating this phenomenon from the social life”, - the Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine said.
The participants agreed on the need for further close cooperation in these issues and institutional support of law enforcement system of Ukraine on the path of reforms.
