The Commercial Court of Kyiv satisfied the claim of the Volyn Regional Prosecutor's Office to recover UAH 28.2 million from the LLC in favor of the Volyn Regional Military Administration - the cost of low-quality bulletproof vests and combat helmets supplied by the company.

Prosecutors established that in April 2022, the company, in fulfillment of the concluded contracts, supplied the Volyn Regional Military Administration with 884 bulletproof vests and 846 combat helmets for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Later, it turned out that they could not be used by military personnel for their intended purpose, because none of the bulletproof vests withstood ballistic tests for resistance to weapons, and combat helmets could not perform the main function of – to protect a person's head from damage by elements of firearms.

The Prosecutor's Office appealed to the court to recover from the supplier the cost of low-quality goods – and the court satisfied the claims of the prosecutors.

In addition, a fine of UAH 5.6 million was also recovered from the same LLC in favor of the Volyn Regional Military Administration for the supply of low-quality bulletproof vests and combat helmets, following a lawsuit filed by the Volyn Regional Prosecutor's Office last year.
