Prosecutors of the Office of the Attorney General have submitted an indictment to the court against the former deputy director of the Central Forest Office of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine".

According to the investigation, the former official acquired unjustified assets worth over 13 million UAH. This includes:

- a 2019 Porsche Cayenne, valued at over 2.7 million UAH;

- a 2024 Mercedes-Benz, valued at over 5.2 million UAH;

- cash amounting to over 5.7 million UAH, spent on goods, works, services, and money transfers to third parties;

- cash in the amount of 10,000 euros and 53,000 US dollars.

In addition, he intentionally provided false information in his annual declarations:

- for 2023, the discrepancy with the accurate data amounted to 11.7 million UAH;

- for 2024, over 14.3 million UAH.

His actions have been classified as illegal enrichment and the submission of knowingly false information in declarations (Article 368-5, Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation in Vinnytsia, with operational support from the employees of the territorial office of the State Bureau of Investigation in Khmelnytskyi.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
