Maxim Matyukhin's killer was sentenced to life imprisonment

The Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv has issued a verdict in the case of former employee of the State Guard Administration Artem Kosov, accused of committing intentional murder for hooligan motives of the minor Maksym Materukhin at the upper station of the Kyiv funicular in April 2024.

The court found him guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment.

An appeal may be filed within the time frame established by law.

The Attorney General emphasized that sufficient evidence has been gathered, which, in the opinion of the prosecution, clearly shows that Kosov, in a state of alcohol and drug intoxication, intentionally killed Maksym Materukhin for hooligan motives.
