Andrei Parubiy's murder: The actions of the suspect are additionally qualified as a state treason

By agreement with the head of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the previously reported suspicion against the suspect in the criminal proceedings regarding the murder of Ukrainian MP Andriy Parubiy has been changed.
Based on newly obtained evidence, the actions of the suspect have been additionally qualified under Part 2 of Article 111 (treason committed in a state of war), Article 112 (attempt on the life of a Ukrainian MP committed in connection with his official or public activities), and Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Recall that Andriy Parubiy was murdered on August 30 of this year in Lviv. According to the investigation, the suspect in this crime is a 52-year-old resident of Lviv. He is currently in custody without bail.
The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted under the procedural guidance of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office by the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region.
Operational support is provided by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region, the National Police of Ukraine, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department in the Lviv region of the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine, as well as the Cybercrime Prevention Department in the Lviv region of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
