In Zaporozhye, another scheme of escape of military personnel abroad - prosecutors reported suspicion to a local resident

According to the investigation, a man, in collusion with other individuals, organized a criminal scheme for the issuance of fictitious documents that allowed men of conscription age to avoid mobilization and leave Ukraine without hindrance.

To find clients, he used social networks and personal connections. During meetings, he offered several options to avoid conscription, including: obtaining guardianship over a person with a disability, acquiring fictitious disability status, or complete removal from military registration – the so-called "white ticket." He explained the conditions and stages of document preparation, as well as coordinated the actions of the clients.

The cost of such "services" ranged from 8,000 to 21,000 US dollars.

Law enforcement documented the fact of receiving 21,000 US dollars for the production of forged documents and detained the man directly during the transfer of money. During a search at the suspect's residence, over 750,000 UAH in cash (in the equivalent of hryvnias) and copies of clients' documents were seized.

Under the procedural guidance of the Shevchenkivskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Zaporizhzhia, a local resident was exposed and notified of suspicion for organizing the illegal transportation of individuals across the state border of Ukraine (part 3 of article 15, part 3 of article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). At the request of the prosecution, he is in custody.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigators of the police department No. 4 of the Zaporizhzhia District Police Department and the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhia region, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Note: according to article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
