A woman who planned to blow up a policeman's car was exposed in Dnipro

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of Kharkiv has been notified of suspicion for planning a terrorist act in the city of Dnipro. Her actions have been qualified under Part 2 of Article 15 and Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the suspect received instructions via the "Telegram" messenger from an employee of the Russian special services regarding the detonation of a police officer's vehicle.

Acting on the curator's instructions, the woman arrived in Dnipro, where she retrieved an improvised explosive device from a specially equipped hideout. She concealed the explosives in the yard of one of the houses in the central part of the city, near the police officer's vehicle, the location of which was provided to her by the curator.

The suspect activated the explosives and left the crime scene. However, the explosion did not occur due to the coordinated actions of law enforcement officers.

The suspect has been chosen a preventive measure — detention without the right to bail.

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
