At least 17 people were injured, including six children - an investigation has been launched into the shelling of Zaporozhye

As of 11:18 on October 30, 2025, rescuers have recovered the bodies of two deceased men from the rubble.

According to the investigation, on October 30, 2025, between 03:17 and 05:00, the Russians launched a combined strike on the infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia. Preliminary reports indicate that the enemy used at least 20 drones and 8 missiles.

As a result of the strikes, multi-apartment and private houses were damaged, and a dormitory was destroyed. Infrastructure facilities were also severely damaged.

At least 17 people are known to have been injured, including six children.

Information regarding the injured is being clarified. According to preliminary information, two people may be trapped under the rubble. The rescue operation is ongoing. The number and types of munitions used are being established. 

Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office, an investigation has been initiated into the criminal proceedings regarding the commission of a war crime (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being conducted by investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
