Ruslan Kravchenko and the Ambassador of Denmark discussed priority areas of cooperation

On November 24, the Attorney General Ruslan Kravchenko held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Ukraine, Thomas Lund-Sørensen.
During the meeting, the Attorney General thanked the people and Government of Denmark for their continuous support of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation.
The parties discussed key priorities for cooperation, including:
The investigation of international crimes committed by the Russian Federation and holding war criminals accountable within the framework of the future Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. The Attorney General noted that the number of recorded war crimes by the Russian Federation exceeds 194,000 episodes.
Denmark's support for the establishment of a Special Tribunal and participation in Ukraine's lawsuit against the Russian Federation regarding genocide in the International Court of Justice.
European integration processes and the development of the regulatory framework in Ukraine, particularly regarding the improvement of disciplinary procedures and the quality of prosecutors' work.
Ruslan Kravchenko expressed hope that during Denmark's presidency in the EU Council, cooperation in the field of Ukraine's European integration would be strengthened.
The Attorney General informed the Ambassador about the work of the Office of the Attorney General in the direction of protecting entrepreneurs, particularly with the "StopPressure" portal created to prevent unlawful interference in economic activities by law enforcement agencies.
The work of the prosecution authorities in frontline regions, current challenges, and needs, particularly in technical means, were discussed separately.
The parties thanked each other for the constructive and productive conversation and agreed to further strengthen cooperation.
