Fifths of the dead and at least 30 victims - prosecutors record the effects of enemy attacks on Kharkiv

On August 17, around 10:50 PM, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a missile strike on the Industrial District of Kharkiv. The missile hit the ground near a multi-story residential building. 11 civilians, including a 13-year-old girl, experienced acute stress reactions. It has been preliminarily established that the Russian forces used an "Iskander" missile.

On August 18, around 5:00 AM, five enemy drones struck a multi-apartment residential building in the Industrial District of Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, there was partial destruction of the building — the inter-floor ceilings collapsed.

Five people were killed, including a girl approximately 1.5 years old. Their identities are being established.

At least 19 people were injured and experienced acute shock, among them — children. All the victims are receiving medical assistance.

Relevant services are on site. Information is being clarified.

Under the procedural guidance of the Nemishlyansk District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv, pre-trial investigations have been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
