With the participation of juvenile prosecutors from the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court upheld the sentence of a man convicted of raping his underage daughter (Part 3 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The Vinnytsia Court of Appeal sentenced him to 13 years of imprisonment. 

Prosecutors proved that the convicted man had been psychologically abusing his 13-year-old daughter for a long time, restricting her socialization and threatening her with physical harm. In November 2021, he raped her.

The court took into account that the man had been previously convicted multiple times and committed crimes during his probation period. Additionally, the court established his guilt in illegal handling of weapons and ammunition (Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

It is worth noting that in August 2025, the first instance court issued a guilty verdict in this case. The defense appealed, insisting on the acquittal of the accused. However, the appellate court, having examined the evidence provided by the prosecutors, upheld the verdict.
