Prosecutors of the Lubny District Prosecutor's Office ensured the implementation of the decisions of the Commercial Court of the Poltava Region regarding the return to communal ownership of the Hrebinka City Council of two plots of land with a total area of almost 137 hectares and a value of more than UAH 270 million.

It was established that in 2018, the Pochaiv Village Council and a local enterprise concluded two land lease agreements for the construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings and structures of energy-generating enterprises. However, the entity did not systematically pay the rent, resulting in arrears, which, according to information from the Hrebinka City Council, amount to more than UAH 19.3 million.

In the spring of 2025, in order to protect the interests of the state, prosecutors appealed to the company with two lawsuits, which the Commercial Court of the Poltava region satisfied.

Currently, the land plots have been returned to the legal successor of the village council, the Hrebinka City Council, and the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in Poltava Region is taking measures to forcibly recover the unpaid rent.
