Juvenile prosecutors of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office have completed the pre-trial investigation and sent an indictment to the court regarding a man suspected of committing serious crimes against the sexual freedom and inviolability of a minor (Part 3 of Article 152, Part 2 of Article 153 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, in August 2018, the accused committed sexual acts against the will of a 17-year-old girl. After being notified of the suspicion, the man began to hide from law enforcement and illegally left the territory of Ukraine in November 2018. Subsequently, he was in the territory of the Russian Federation and later in Germany.

In December 2025, at the initiative of the prosecutor's office, the suspect was extradited to Ukraine.

He is in custody without the right to bail.

He faces a punishment of imprisonment for a term of 7 to 12 years.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
