Prosecutors in Lviv region have submitted indictments to the court against the deputy director for economic issues and the chief accountant of the separate divisions of the state enterprise "Lvivvuhillia" for the fact of evading the payment of the single contribution to the mandatory state social insurance (part 1, 2 of Article 212-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The investigation established that for several years, the officials of the enterprise, being fully aware of the volumes of financial and economic operations of the enterprise, deliberately did not pay the aforementioned contribution.

It should be noted that this necessity is a priority and arises simultaneously with the receipt of funds for salary payments.

As a result of the aforementioned actions, nearly 8.2 million UAH in contributions did not reach the funds of the mandatory state social insurance.

In connection with the reimbursement of the damages caused by the defendants, a motion has been submitted to the court to release them from criminal liability.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by detectives of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Lviv region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a guilty verdict of the court.
