Prosecutors capture the effects of enemy shelling: October 11-12

Dnipropetrovsk Region

On October 11, 2025, around 08:30, Russian military forces launched drone strikes on the territory of the Synelnykove district, resulting in injuries to an 11-year-old child, damage to civilian infrastructure, and residential buildings.

In Nikopol, a woman was killed and a man was injured due to the impact of FPV drones.

A business, a five-story building, and a store were damaged.

The enemy shelled Dnipropetrovsk region for the second time on October 12 around 13:00. As a result of FPV drone strikes on the city of Nikopol and the Nikopol district, a woman and a man were injured, and private houses and a gas station were damaged.

Around 14:30, as a result of artillery shelling in the Synelnykove district, a man and a woman were killed, and another woman was injured. The homes of local residents were damaged.

Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, a criminal proceeding has been initiated regarding the war crime (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Odesa Region

As a result of enemy shelling with strike drones on the city of Odesa and the Odesa region on the night of October 11, damage was inflicted on energy facilities and civilian infrastructure.

In particular, a three-story building of a hotel and restaurant complex, two private houses, and the glazing of one of the floors of a 25-story residential building were damaged.

One civilian was injured in the night attack. A 47-year-old woman was hospitalized.

Due to the shelling of Ukrainian energy infrastructure by the Russian army, 44 settlements remain without electricity.

Under the procedural guidance of the Odesa regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated regarding the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceeding is being conducted by investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

Chernihiv Region

On the afternoon of October 12, Russian forces attacked a critical infrastructure facility in the city of Chernihiv using UAVs, resulting in injuries to five civilians and damage to equipment.

Prosecutors, in cooperation with investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine and the police, are taking all measures to document the consequences of another war crime committed by Russia.

Under the procedural guidance of the Chernihiv regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in the criminal proceeding regarding the war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
