Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of Kostiantynivka has been notified of suspicion for the unauthorized dissemination of information regarding the placement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). 

In August 2025, the suspect began providing a user with a Russian phone number information about the locations of the Defense Forces of Ukraine's units, military equipment, as well as the locations of civilian infrastructure facilities via "Telegram." He received a monetary reward for the coordinates sent.

On October 8, 2025, law enforcement detained the man and notified him of the suspicion.

The suspect has been placed in custody as a preventive measure.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
