False information in particularly large amounts was declared by a deputy of the Cherkasy City Council, a deputy of the village council in the Lviv region, and two deputies of village councils in the Kharkiv region. The total amount of undeclared assets and property is nearly 29 million UAH.
Under the procedural guidance of prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General and the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the deputies have been notified of suspicion under Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In particular, in Cherkasy, a city council deputy did not declare over 9.7 million UAH in savings in the annual declaration for 2022. He also undervalued the cost of an elite BMW car registered in his wife's name by almost 3.5 million UAH. The official indicated the car's value as only 10,000 UAH as a vehicle allegedly damaged in a traffic accident that did not actually occur.
In the Lviv region, during the submission of the annual declaration for 2022, a village council deputy did not indicate property worth 4.5 million UAH: two plots of land totaling 40 acres, an apartment, and a house of 173 sq.m.
One of the village council deputies in the Kharkiv region did not declare over 30 plots of land and a share in a non-residential building with a total value of over 7.5 million UAH in the declaration for 2024.
A deputy from another village council did not reflect in the 2021 declaration a residential house, land plots, rental objects, cars, trucks, and trailers in January 2024. She also concealed corporate rights in a farming enterprise, income from the sale of real estate, entrepreneurial activities, and work in economic societies, as well as cash and non-cash funds. The total value of the undeclared assets amounts to over 3.6 million UAH.
Pre-trial investigations in criminal proceedings under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office are being conducted by investigators of the National Police of Ukraine.
