In Ivano-Frankivsk, large-scale abuses and corruption crimes were exposed. Over 106 million UAH of losses

Under the procedural guidance of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a large-scale implementation has been carried out in criminal proceedings. 40 individuals have been notified of suspicion. The total amount of damages established by the investigation exceeds 106 million UAH, and the unlawful benefit exceeds 360 thousand UAH.
Suspicions have been announced against:
• The director of the Prykarpattia State Agricultural Research Station of the Institute of Agriculture of the Carpathian Region of the NAAS — for official negligence that led to the undervaluation of agricultural products, causing damages of 21.9 million UAH, as well as for abusing his official position during the conclusion of contracts with a private enterprise, which resulted in inflated costs for land cultivation by 932 thousand UAH. The director of LLC "Druzhba Agro IF" has also been suspected of misappropriating budget funds in the same amount for services that were not actually provided.
• The deputy director of the Department of Urban Development of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council — for embezzlement of 1.76 million UAH during the implementation of urban development works.
• The director of a company — for official forgery and misappropriation of 11 million UAH of funds from the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council during the provision of heating energy transportation services to the city's residents.
• The director of the KP "City Ritual Service" of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council — for embezzlement of 1.8 million UAH during tree removal works in the city.
• The director of DMP "Ivano-Frankivskteplokomunenergo" — for improper performance of official duties, which led to losses for the community of over 8 million UAH.
• A deputy and the head of the Verkhovyna Village Council — for receiving 8 thousand USD for influencing the transfer of a land plot for lease.
• The current mayor of Burshtyn and the technical supervision engineer — for misappropriating 125 thousand UAH during the construction of treatment facilities.
• The head of the Yabluniv Village Council — for abusing his official position, resulting in the budget losing 300 thousand UAH in land lease payments.
• The director of PJSC "Segezha Ukraine" — for abusing his official position and transferring the company's property (75% of which belongs to citizens of the Russian Federation and is under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council) to his son, causing damages of 46 million UAH.
• The director of a company and the technical supervision engineer — for misappropriating 2.3 million UAH during the renovation of the sports base "Zaroslyak".
• The director of a company and the technical supervision engineer of the Department of Capital Construction of the Regional State Administration — for misappropriating 123 thousand UAH during the renovation of the local museum.
• The technical supervision engineer — for official negligence, which resulted in inflated costs for the outpatient clinic's works by 150 thousand UAH.
• The director of KP "KEK" of the Kalush City Council and an individual entrepreneur — for misappropriating 130 thousand UAH during the ordering of project documentation.
• An employee of the fire and rescue unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Chernivtsi region, an individual entrepreneur in technical supervision, and the director of a contracting firm — for misappropriating over 1.6 million UAH during the construction of a fire depot.
• The former acting head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region — for abusing his official position during the procurement of a mobile command post, which led to damages of 2.3 million UAH.
• The head of the environmental and radiation safety service of the Dolyna Oil and Gas Production Department — for contaminating land with petroleum products, causing 4 million UAH in environmental damage.
• The director and methodologist of the kindergarten of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council — for embezzling over 920 thousand UAH intended for employee salaries.
• The directors of two companies — for misappropriating over 446 thousand UAH during the insulation of the lyceum premises.
• The director of a company — for aiding in official forgery and misappropriating 1.095 million UAH during the renovation of the lyceum.
• An individual entrepreneur — for official forgery and misappropriating 262 thousand UAH during the renovation of the gymnasium.
• An individual entrepreneur and the former head of the department of the Department of Capital Construction of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration — for official forgery and misappropriating over 166 thousand UAH during the renovation of the gymnasium.
• The director of a state educational institution — for the illegal transfer of land, causing over 357 thousand UAH in damages to the state.
• The technical supervision engineer — for official negligence, which led to budget losses of 487 thousand UAH.
• An individual entrepreneur — for receiving 17,800 UAH for influencing the issuance of a weapon permit.
• A doctor at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Hospital — for receiving 500 USD for assisting in the preparation of medical documents for the military medical commission.
• Three individuals — for the sale of narcotic substances in places of deprivation of liberty.
• Members of an organized criminal group — for interfering with the automated systems of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, processing 4,994 contracts for the purchase and sale of vehicles, and receiving 3.8 million UAH.
Pre-trial investigations are ongoing. The issue of choosing preventive measures is being resolved.
The Prosecutor's Office will continue to take measures to expose, recover damages caused to the state, and hold those responsible accountable.
Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
