In the city of Synelnykove, a 49-year-old local resident has been reported as a suspect for committing the corruption of a minor. 

In 2024, the man met a 14-year-old girl through the messenger "Telegram." During their communication, he sent her messages of a sexual nature.

In addition, the suspect sent the child files of a pornographic nature.

The victim's mother learned about the incident and reported it to the police. 

On October 29, 2025, the head of the Synelnykove District Prosecutor's Office informed the man of the suspicion regarding the acts of lewdness towards a girl who has not yet reached the age of 16, intentional access to child pornography, and its possession without the intent to sell or distribute (Part 1 of Article 156, Part 2 of Article 301, Part 1 of Article 301-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Synelnykove District Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Note: according to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in a lawful manner and established by a court verdict.
