Under the public prosecution of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, the court issued a verdict against a resident of the Starobeshivskyi district for treason (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

In 2024, the woman met an FSB officer from the Russian Federation on “Telegram” and agreed to cooperate. The convicted individual provided information about the locations of Defense Forces units and artillery strike assets in Selidove, Pokrovsk, and Kirovohrad region, as well as checkpoints and engineering-fortification structures.

Over the course of 2 months, she disclosed about 20 locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in at least 8 settlements. 

It is worth noting that in October 2024, she was exposed and detained by law enforcement. In addition to her phone, a Russian passport, which she had illegally obtained while in the territory not controlled by Ukraine in 2023, was seized from her. 

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
