At the request of environmental prosecutors of the Nikopol District Prosecutor's Office, the Economic Court of the region ordered the Pokrovsk City Council to return to the state a land plot with an area of more than 60 hectares, located within the landscape reserve of national importance "Bazavlutsk Coastal and River Complex".

The prosecutor's office established that the Main Directorate of the State Geocadastre in Dnipropetrovsk region illegally transferred this land plot of the nature reserve fund to communal ownership. The cost of the land is UAH 7.2 million.

The court agreed with the arguments of the prosecutor's office and satisfied the claim, obliging to return the land plot to state ownership.
