The Kyiv Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of Defense of the Central Region, together with the Main Department of the National Police in the city of Kyiv, under the operational support of the State Security Service of Ukraine in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region, notified the director of one of the enterprises of suspicion for committing a criminal offense provided for in part 5 of Art. 27 part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (assistance in receiving an illegal benefit by an official).

According to the investigation, the citizen, acting for selfish reasons, established a scheme of assistance in providing illegal benefits to officials of one of the Territorial Centers of Recruitment and Social Support of the city of Kyiv for resolving the issue of removing conscripts from military registration and from search in the «Oberig» system with subsequent booking, by means of their fictitious employment in a controlled enterprise.

The cost of such "services" was USD 5500 for removal from the wanted list and USD 8 000 for booking through employment.

In August 2025, an agreement was reached to provide «services» to two people for a total undue benefit of USD 19 000.

After receiving an illegal benefit in the above amount, the suspect was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, the subject of illegal benefit has been removed.

She was remanded in the form of night house arrest.

Measures are currently being taken to identify and prosecute other persons involved in the commission of the crime.

The sanction of the incriminated article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of eight to twelve years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of up to three years, with confiscation of property.

Note: In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution, a person shall be presumed innocent of a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt has been proved legally and established by a court conviction.
